A PENDING status means the submission was accepted and the tax authority's verdict is still outstanding. The simplified invoice is issued and can no longer be edited. Retrieve the simplified invoice to read the final status. A concurrent report or retry returns HTTP 409 with code report_in_progress; refresh the document before deciding whether to retry.
